Valentine's Day Gifts for the Decorator

Happy three weeks away from Valentine’s Day to you! Matt and I were so not Valentine’s Day people for most of our lives but then we learned that you can just treat it as an excuse to drink a little extra red wine and make a fancy dinner, and well—ever since then we’ve loved Valentine’s Day. I’m even putting together multiple gift guides this year, this being the very first! Funny how life works. One great thing about V-Day is that you don’t need to have a partner to celebrate. It’s honestly kinda more fun to give a special something to a best friend, parent, sibling, etc. because it’s so unexpected. It’s like taking the day as a little excuse to do something sweet, which always feels nice. It’s also a great day to relish in the spoils of capitalism by treating yourself to a new favorite thing, be it a box of chocolates or a sofa you’ve been struggling to not splurge on.

The below gift guide is for the decorator in your life, whether that’s your husband, mom, Cool Neighbor, or yourself.

Valentine’s Day Gifts for the Decorator

1.) Fancy Taper Candle Set $29 | A little bit of romance, a little bit of flare, give your favorite decorator some extra special and gorgeous taper candles they maybe wouldn’t splurge on for themselves. They come in moss (green) and parchment (off-white).

2.) Ceramic Bud Vase $28 | Flowers die quick but a bud vase will outlive us all! This gorgeous petite little number is great for that loved one who impeccably styles their fireplace mantles and kitchen island. Ok fine, bonus points if you gift this item with some flowers as well.

3.) Teak Display Bowl $75 | A beautifully warm wood in a quirky splatter shape is both timeless and exciting. We have display bowls in every room of our home to help reduce surface clutter and add a bit of interest.

4.) Set of 2 Stone Bookends $48 | Organic modern is always in and these stone bookends are a beautiful and functional gift any homemaker or stylist in your life will adore. Especially if they’re inclined to read!

5.) Housewarming Book $15.99 | Speaking of needing bookends… have we got a book for you! Like literally we wrote this book for you. And it’s pink!!! Valentine’s Day gift written allll over it.

6.) Delicat Centerpiece Bowls by Athena Calderone $80 - $100 | Minimal, sleek, and sexy centerpiece bowls to bring a bit of beauty! I’d style these on a coffee table, console table, or mantle.

7.) Hoya Heart Plant Duo $68 | Adorable heart-shaped succulents for you and yours—literally, cause there’s two! Play a fun game of “Whosever Dies First Loves The Other Person Less.” Or you could just buy the single heart hoya option (also on The Sill)!

8.) Lady Vase $29 & up | We’ve got a few of these in different models and love them. They stay perched on the shelves in the Garden Apartment and receive all the praise.

9.) Eternity Roses $44 & up | These roses can last up to a year with proper care and will make any coffee table or entryway feel a little extra lux.

10.) Wick Trimmer Set $16 | Help your favorite person keep their favorite scented candles in tip-top shape with the wick trimmer set, complete with a trimmer, snuffer, and little prong thingy for removing any gunk that ends up in the wax!

We hope you find something you love in today’s gift guide! Thanks for stopping by the blog :)
