Summer Spritz Round Up

Holy. Heat.

We're not even going to begin talking about how hot New Orleans is or how weirdly sweaty Beau got during our last live happy hour, because we've probably been clear about it at this point. Let's talk about refreshing things instead. Like... waterfalls, and pools, and tank tops, and our crappy living room air conditioning unit that is making our lives a true tragedy. Wait. Refreshing things. Like spritz!

Spritz spritz spritz.

Besides being a fun word to say, spritz's (spritzses?) should pretty much be crowned the prom queen of summer because of how light and bubbly and cold they are and how much they didn't want to hang with us in high school. A spritz is basically just a combination of liquor, a mixer such as fruit juice or flavored liqueur, bubbles from soda or tonic or sparkling wine, and a hefty dose of pure bliss*.

When we learned about Belvedere Vodka's whole freaking line up of summer spritz recipes, we were like, "Woah there, hold up, how do we make them give them to us... now please... let us have them!" And then we made them. And then we laughed joyous laughter over the few delicious moments of relief from the heat they offered our bodies.

We made four of them, so two for him and two for other him, and to be honest we couldn't really pick a favorite. The Herbal spritz is like kind of a runner up because we're partial to any kind of Italian bitter liqueur, but the the Cucumber Thyme spritz is probably the lightest and most refreshing thing besides, like, ice water - but much more delicious, obvi. We've got both of those recipes plus the recipes for a mint spritz and citrus spritz down below! You can also find many more recipe variations up on Belvedere's site! Have a spritz-filled weekend, cuties!
